  • I think the roofdeck probably makes that a pretty good deal although I can’t figure out where the stairs are?

  • It seems the kitchen is facing the wrong direction. Roof deck is pretty sweet. Might be an okay deal.

  • Already under contract… not surprised.

  • hopefully you can access the roof deck from somewhere other than the master bedroom…I wouldn’t want people in and out of my room if I have a get together

  • Yes, this has been on the market awhile – and was not snapped up quickly as some are. I think people prefer the deck off the living areas not the master bedroom – it is nice if you make that room a tv room/study, but who wouldn’t want that nice shower to use in the master bath. And perhaps for this price they want an elevator (if this is a walkup – no mention of one, and the building was likely originally with stairs only) and parking (no mention of a space, though you can rent in garages conveniently nearby). Perhaps its a tad high-priced for the amount of space and relatively tight rooms on the main floor.

  • Street View shows this was quite the renovation.

  • I live across from this building, and don’t think it’s a great deal. First, the price is pretty steep for the square footage. Second, it looks like master bedroom is in the back, but BOY does this block get noisy on weekend nights! Even with my (modern) windows shut, I still need to sleep with earplugs in to avoid being woken up at 3am by drunken Adams Morgan brawls. And finally, street parking is pretty horrific on that block, especially on the weekends, so if parking isn’t included, that’d be a deal breaker for me. As anon mentioned, there are a few garages nearby but they are pretty pricey, and don’t guarantee you a spot. (Which I think is absolutely insane/makes the steep price even less worth it!)
