A reader reports:

“act of violence on 14 St NW today. As I was walking south from the CoHe Metro I saw, outside the CVS, yellow crime tape around a large area of sidewalk. I asked the 2 cops there what happened. They didn’t vocalize anything but just pointed to a patch of sidewalk that was obviously stained with blood. Not certain what happened this afternoon but looks awful.”

Around 6:30pm MPD reported:

“3D is working a confirmed Stabbing at 14TH street and Irving St NW. LOF a B/M tall wearing a gray shirt.”

From MPD just after 7pm:

“A robbery [Gun] just occurred in the 100 Block of Q Street, Northwest – Lookout is for a Black Male, white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a pink Sponge Bob Backpack. Officers are currently canvassing the area. Please contact 911 if you see an individual matching the description.”

MPD reported at 7:40pm:

Confirmed Shooting at 1940 hrs in the 1000 block of Bladensburg Road, NE. Lookout for B/M wearing an orange hooded shirt.”
