  • Ill be sure to stay out of alleys at 2:00am

Victims are often walking on the street and then forced into alleys. But it is good Common Sense to be wary of walking anywhere alone at 2am. Hope for a speedy physical and mental recovery for the victim.

      • This. And seconding the well wishes.
        .
I was walking south on 14th toward U a few nights ago and a woman in front of me turned off onto Euclid or Clifton. She walked down the middle of the street; apparently because she would have had to walk through a group of 6-8 men had she stayed on the sidewalk. It was 7pm. As a man it makes me sick that we engender this type of wariness and fear.

    • Snarky comments on a post about an attempted rape. classy.

Their are legitimate, common sense, reason that the victim may have been in the alley at 2am. Could she have just parked her car in her parking pad? Could she have been retrieving the IPad she forgot in her glove box? Maybe she forgot tmrw was garbage day and was taking her trash out before bed. Maybe it was what Popville said. Either way. Doesn’t matter.

If you don’t have anything nice to say about a woman’s horrific experience then don’t say anything at all.

    • Stay classy, “common sense”. You are a peach.
