“On Friday, September 2, 2016, at approximately 12:35AM, officers responded to the 2500 block of 14th Street NE to the sounds of gunshots. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite extraordinary lifesaving efforts by MPD and DCFEMS personnel, unfortunately the victim displayed no signs of life on the scene, and was therefore not transported to a medical facility.

Any persons with information regarding this crime may contact the Homicide Branch at 202-645-9600, or the MPD Command Information Center at 202-727-9099. Reference CCN# 16-147-874.
