From a press release:

“Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new location in the heart of Washington, D.C. at District Center, in the historical Thurman Arnold Building, on Thursday, September 22. The 33,000 square foot, two level store located at 555 12th St. NW will offer shoppers a compelling lineup of more than 800 sought-after brands and an ever-evolving selection of luxury designer fashion – all at up to 70% off.

“We’re thrilled to open in the nation’s capital and bring our ‘thrill-of-the-hunt’ experience to D.C. shoppers,” commented Jonathan Greller, President, Saks OFF 5TH and Gilt. “We believe strongly in this market – this opening comes on the heels of our new Fairfax and Springfield, VA locations, and we have two additional stores in the region opening next month.”
