Thanks to a reader for sending the update on Pie360. Anyone happen to take a taste today? What’s the early word?

Pie 360 was created to serve delicious food with all fresh ingredients in a fast casual atmosphere. Using the experience & recipes from our Coal Fire Restaurants, we will be able to bring our aged dough, three uniquely flavorful sauces & top it off with our mozzarella cheese made in house daily. We hope you will enjoy the experience of building your personal pizza & salad or choosing from one of our newly created panini’s.

    • I wasn’t blown away, but the build-your-own was nice and seemed reasonably priced considering they weren’t stingy with the ingredients. They could benefit from having a small paper menu for pickup since it’s a tight space when ordering and trying to see the menu. And because the ingredients for build-your-own weren’t on the menu, you could really only decide what you wanted once you got to the front of the line.

  • I thought it was average to below average. Disappointed. For cheap, fast pizza, I prefer &Pizza or Wiseguy in this general vicinity. But I’ll probably go back at some point and try again as it’s nearby.

  • Tried it yesterday for lunch. Signature sauce was incredible. Fresh toppings including hot Italian sausage they apprently mix and cook in house. I’ll be there at least twice a week. Wheat crust surprisingly good.

    • i enjoyed the wheat crust too! i live nearby, and not having to walk to chinatown or deal with the stomachaches after (the oh-so-good) wiseguys will be nice. i’ll be there once or twice a week.
