From the National Gallery of Art [6th and Constitution Ave, NW]:

“Join us! The National Gallery of Art’s East Building galleries will reopen to the public on Friday, September 30 at 10:00am.

Your East Building has new galleries for modern art in I.M. Pei’s architectural masterpiece. Come see more than 500 works reinstalled in expanded, updated, redesigned galleries and on a new rooftop terrace—open daily on the National Mall. We’ll also unveil three major temporary exhibitions for the reopening of the East Building, including “In the Tower: Barbara Kruger,” “Los Angeles to New York: Dwan Gallery, 1959-1971” and “Photography Reinvented: The Collection of Robert E. Meyerhoff and Rheda Becker.” As always, the Gallery is free to all visitors and tickets or passes are not required.”
