  • I find it hard to understand how this is the heart of Brookland when it’s actually in Edgewood. Also, it looks very dark – not enough natural light.

      Agreed regarding location. I’ll grant that Brookland has recently annexed a good chunk of what historically has been referred to as Edgewood, but this is basically “right in the heart of Edgewood.”
      Nice enough unit. At this price I don’t imagine they’ll have any trouble finding a buyer.

      • How did Brookland annex a chunk of Edgewood?

        • Everything that is now Monroe Street Market (the triangle formed by Monroe, Michigan, and the Red line) is Edgewood. I’m not sure what the exact word is, but I think a “chunk” is correct. The fact that so many people now think this is Brookland shows how well it was annexed.

  • Oh man, if my friends who lived across the street from here in the early 2000s knew that their neighborhood was now being billed as “the heart of Brookland” they would have a good laugh.
