DC911 is currently experiencing a service interruption. Call 202.727.9099 for MPD and 202.673.7197 for fire/EMS emergencies.

From a briefing this morning:
911 outage lasted a little more than 90 minutes last night. We are investigating the cause of failure. No evidence of outside hacking.

During 911 outage, residents had to use a 10-digit phone # for calling MPD/FEMS. Total of 40 calls were rec’d:
* 30 EMS & 5 fire
