  • Does anyone have info on restoration timeline? Pepco’s website and 800 number keep pushing it back to later and later in the day. I am concerned about impact on our infant (and the store of milk in our freezer that will go bad if power is not back on soon!) I’m working downtown today, so can’t go out and talk to the Pepco guys working on the issue. Thanks in advance!

    • I suggest going to buy ice to put the milk on. Your freezer should hold temperature pretty well for several hours though too. I lost power on Sunday, and my freezer was mostly still frozen by the time it came back on 15 hours later.

  • First the one in Dupont/Adams Morgan on Sunday now this? This does not bode well for summer in DC

  • We’ve lived in our apartment on 11th and Columbia for 8 years and have had more power outages these past couple weeks than those 8yrs combined! Ours was restored by 4pm when I got home. Better than the last one which was close to 9 hours.
Moving to Petworth soon and hoping things are better there (or just as good as the previous 8yrs!).
