  • Potatoes aren’t harvested until the fall. This doesn’t make any sense…

      You can harvest “new potatoes” rather early but these seem early for that. OP or other gardeners care to weigh in?

      • In the right conditions, they only take a couple of months to grow. They could be grown indoors, with a head pad or something like that, or they may have planted them outside at the end of March or early April.

  • These were my potatoes. In early March, I planted some grocery store Yukon Golds that had sprouted in my pantry. I had no idea when to harvest them but the leaves started to yellow and wilt so I pulled them. To my surprise the potatoes had turned into MORE POTATOES!
