I don’t know if it’s because of being perceived as an “out of town bar” due to the PA owners, or the location near CityCenter, but I think CTH is one of the most underrated bars in the District. They went out of their way in taking care of us for the PoPville HH I setup there, and they do a great job of promoting a beer selection that’s really only rivaled by ChurchKey within DC. This is a cool series, with or without Sam (I’ve met him several times, very chill guy).

    • Agreed on CTH, they were wonderful and had a very, very impressive selection. Do you know if there is a charge for this event tomorrow? (also, I love Dogfish Head!)

Almost none of this week’s SAVOR events (at any bar around town) charge an admission fee. It’s one of the best times of year to go out and explore.

  • Big fan of Dog Fish Beers…. They come in handy on Football Sundays.

Good beer selection, but the time I ate there, I didn’t think the food was all that great.

  • I’ve never met the guy, but every time I’ve seen him on TV or read something by him, Sam seems like a really cool person. One of the true spokesmen for good beer.
