“At approximately 1:20 AM, a male victim was shot in the 1200 block of I St SE. The injuries are considered non-life threatening, and the victim is receiving medical care. There is no suspect description available at this time. This case is being actively investigated by members of the First District Detectives Office.
Members of the community with any information are asked to call MPD at 202-727-9099. You can also text information anonymously to MPD by sending a message to 50411. Anyone with video footage from the surrounding area is asked to call as well.”
