  • I miss living on the Hill, largely because of the Pretzel Bakery.

  • the building is heinous. If you stay inside and enjoy the delightful smell from the pretzel bakery maybe it’s ok.

  • That building sat half complete until the early 11’s or 12’s. Aside from the building housing the recently located pretzel bakery directly across and “the Axis” condo, it towers over the row homes because it is on the 15th St SE four block corridor zoned C2A (commercial) which meant they could build a lot higher.

    But it did replace a defunct gas station way back when, so…

    • At least that (abandoned) building looked more interesting. This one was just plopped there and I have heard that the quality isn’t all that great.not sure whoever developed that cared a hoot as long as they got the units sol and made money.

    Every Monday morning at the staff meeting: “OK, somebody smells like pretzels! Who smells like pretzels?”

  • It looks like the fridge is in the living room and there is so little counterspace in that kitchen. I would either add an island or move the fridge over and added a peninsula on that side. At least enclose the thing. Right now it’s just sticking out there.

  • I’d say it’s a good deal — $355K for a new 1 BR near metro. Hard to find anything under $400K these days.
