  • i hope they think twice about doing away with the buffalo chicken sandwich, else my group of friends does away with sollys for five months of nfl sundays.

  • The food at Solly’s was actually good. I wish Solly’s had advertised their own food. Bartenders got an attitude if you ever asked for a menu.

  • Calling mustard-based barbecue sauce “Georgia” should be punishable by death.

  • Sloppy Mama’s is amazing. I will not miss the old food menu.

  • $7 for a sandwich that doesn’t include a side? And then $4 for each side? Hard pass.

    • 5 dollar footlongs at Subway! Right?

    • This seems like the baseline price for BBQ sandwiches in DC. But the $4/side is overkill. At places like Rocklands aren’t sides usually like, $2.50 or so?

      • $11 for a sandwich and side is on par with many places in DC even if the per side price is a bit high.
I’m not sure where Logan is getting $7 sandwiches+a side except for happy hour.

      • Rockland’s sandwich plus side is still less than SM’s cheapest sandwich.

I can’t imagine what the mark-up is on $7.50 pulled pork sandwich on a white bread bun.

        • Rockland is $6 for pulled pork, $3 for sides. A difference of $1-2 & not cheaper than that $7.5 pulled pork. Other sandwiches like brisket are virtually the same price. I’m just not seeing the outrage.

          • Overpriced is overpriced….particularly for a dive bar. Add taxes and tip – it’s $15. I think $4 for sides – particularly french fries – is absurd (Hill Country I think a small side is $2). Unless you’re getting an absurd amount…
