From a press release:

“The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC (GMCW) continues its 35th season with a concert saluting country music entitled Boots, Class & Sass to be presented on March 12, 2016 at 8:00pm; March 19, 2016 at 3:00pm and 8:00pm and March 20, 2016 at 3:00pm at the Lincoln Theatre, located at 1215 U Street NW, Washington, DC. The concert will be conducted by GMCW Artistic Director Thea Kano.

The concert will feature a special reunion performance by the DC Cowboys, a local favorite all- male dance troupe that was known for their style of mixing country music with Broadway-style dance routines. In addition to the DC Cowboys, the concert will feature guitar and violin players, dancers, clogging, costumes, videos and more. Songs will include “Cowboy Take Me Away,” “Crazy,” “Mama Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys,” “All-American Boy” and “Honey, I’m Good”.

The concert will be directed by producer, director and writer John Moran.
The concert will also feature a performance by the GenOUT Chorus, the LGBTQ youth chorus of
GMCW under the direction of Dr. Paul Heins.
