  • That seems super overpriced…

  • I do NOT like the choice of windows.

  • Considering that this listing is “No Longer Available” I would say yes, it’s a good deal. People on this website don’t seem to know the difference between something being overpriced vs. something they can’t afford.

    • Agreed. I’m not sure it’s an absolute steal, but it’s certainly not a bad deal. I’d personally rather be “in” the neighborhood rather than right on Florida (if that makes sense) but that price seems reasonable for the area and the little we can see of the house.

      • Weren’t you just complaining about yuppies in yesterday’s Union Market post? And now you trumpet that 3k is a fair price for a 2b/2ba right on FLA? Cognitive dissonance much?

        • I’m not sure what my feelings about Union Market’s weekend clientele has to do with the market price for a early rental unit. How I “feel” about the “fairness” of the price has nothing to do with how it compares to the price for similar units.

    • It’s also possible that the listing agent might have temporarily removed it to fix something in the listing — “not available” does not necessarily mean “taken.”

  • You get a great view of the Hess gas station right across the street…

I didn’t think it would be that bad then I saw that it’s literally right on a four(maybe six?)-lane highway and across from the gas station with no other residential buildings across the thoroughfare insight. That would be an…adjustment.

Love, love, love those windows. Definitely unique and changes it from a ‘regular’ squat rowhome to something eye-catching.

Looks like the listening is already gone, I would have loved a better peek inside. But less than 3K for 2/2.5 AND furnished seems like a great deal.

The pictures for the unit are still live here: http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/511-Florida-Ave-NE-Washington-DC-20002/68071152_zpid/

Looks nice inside and its 1,944sqft so I’m pretty sure ‘Not Available’ means Taken.
