  • crap I totally forgot the pool

  • Definitely won’t forgot the pool. Not in January I won’t.

  • I don’t see a pool.

    • Yeah, it seems they forgot the picture of the pool. I guess it’s not much of a selling point.

      • I agree, and its been a pet peeve for me for a while – if something is a major enough selling point to call it out directly in the listing, you better have great photos of it.

        • probably because the pool has been closed since September and residents can’t access it during the offseason.

  • Trying to figure out why this is such a good deal. Is it location?

  • LOL. I live next door to this condo – it’s been on the market for many months, and they literally just renovated the kitchen over the weekend (a young couple was hauling appliances in from the back of an SUV – hopefully they knew what they were doing!) I did have a chance to take a look at it and it isn’t in the greatest shape compared to other units that have sold for comparable prices. The bedroom has dirty white carpet that will definitely need to be replaced, and the whole place needs a fresh paint job. The floors are laminate, not wood. The bathroom is also in need of some updating.

That said, the Car Barn is awesome and whoever buys this place will have awesome neighbors 🙂

    • How is the bathroom in need of updating?
      .
I don’t really agree with the design choices (cabinets with translucent doors), but I don’t see anything in the photo that screams “DATED!”.

      • well, the picture doesn’t show much detail, but the shower tiles and the bathroom floor were both pretty grimy and looked like they had not been particularly well maintained. the cabinets are also not my style but are not really an issue.

the place generally had the feel of not being well-loved or maintained by the previous owner, but i may be biased since other similar units i toured were much better cared for.

        • I live at the CB too, and the price is pretty much the standard that units with that layout have been going for…but for an unrenovated or busted up one, doubt they’re going to get it. There’s a few listed right now so I don’t see why anyone would buy one in bad shape. I have to say, people getting as excited as they do about the tiny pool baffles me, but hey if it helps my condo have more value I’ll take it.

    • I noticed the kitchen changed while flipping through the pics.
