“Does the coming storm have a ‘snowpocalypse’ style name yet?”

“Dear PoPville,

Does the coming storm have a “snowpocalypse” style name yet?”

On twitter @MalnurturedSnay suggests: “the snow name is #snowmageddeath … It’s like #snowmaggedon but this time we all die”

Not bad, not bad. I’ve also seen #snowmaggedon2016 – but that seems incredibly lazy.

And Snowtastrophe – that’s not bad either.

Personally, I’m thinking something like SnowWayOut. Anyone else see, have a good one or prefer one of the names mentioned above?

Also here’s the latest projection via Alert DC:

“The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning in effect from 3PM Friday January 22, 2016 through 6AM Sunday January 24, 2016. Heavy snow and wind expected, with a projected accumulation of about 24 inches of snow. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20’s, with increasing winds up to 40 mph. Heavy snow and blowing snow will cause dangerous conditions. Travel and visibility is expected to be limited during the storm.”
