Wardman Wines tweets us the good news yesterday:

“Grand Opening this Friday!”

Their website says:

“At Wardman Wines, we have carefully selected wines, beers, and spirits from around the world. Our goal is to make wine buying easy and approachable. Our knowledgeable staff is available to provide advice and make recommendations, and a selection of wines is always available to taste at the bar. Want to learn more about wine? We hold regular tasting classes to make you more comfortable with the world and language of wine.

Wardman Wines takes its name from the Wardman-style row house, a familiar feature of many DC neighborhoods. Generations of DC residents have grown up in these homes, which are named for real-estate developer Harry Wardman. These houses are integral to the fabric of Washington, and we hope that, in time, Wardman Wines can also become integral to our surrounding community.”

Hours are:

Monday-Thursday: 12:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

and they deliver too!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
