  • unless you’re seriously settled-down, baffled why anyone would pay that sum to live in Glover Park.

    • Totally agree. I lived in GP for 3 years, max I ever paid for a 1/1 was $1,400.

      • Me too. I lived in Glover for two years and loved it, but I was paying quite a bit less for a place literally 5 steps off Wisconsin.

    • why is that? seems like a desirable area to me

      • It’s a great area but it’s not metro accessible. There are plenty of buses though. Perhaps that’s why it’s becoming a more highly demanded neighborhood (at least my assumption based on the price)?

        • A lot of people are simply giving up on metro. Some of us never used it much to begin with. Seems like a perfect storm for a resurgence.

    • How long ago did any of you live here? I’ve been here 2 years, and just like everywhere else in the city, rents have gone up. That’s a cheap price for that unit. 1-BRs here are going on average about $100-300 more than that.

  • Glover Park would be a decent place to live and this unit seems ok but I feel it’s overpriced by 75-125 bucks.
