From Brookland Pint:

“We are currently in the middle of our annual Toys for Tots toy drive. As you know the USMCR holds an annual toy drive to benefit children who don’t have the means for a traditional Christmas. The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future. We are proud to join the Marine Corps Reserve in making this mission a reality.

To support these objectives Brookland Pint has offered a 10% discount on all tabs where a new, unwrapped, toy was donated. We will also be holding a fundraiser 4 for Toys for Tots on the evening of Thursday, December 3rd. From 6-9 that night we will be welcoming representatives of the Marine Corps who will be on site to collect donations. We will also be raffling of gift cards and prizes from other local businesses, offering 20% off your tab with a toy donation, and will have discounted beer and wine for all. Please join us in bringing together the community by providing a brighter holiday season to those less fortunate.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
