Video from MPD: “Person of Interest in reference to a Stalking incident” on U Street

“The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in reference to a Stalking incident which occurred on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at approximately 12:02 PM in the 1600 block of U Street, NW. The subject was captured by the establishment’s surveillance cameras.

DO YOUR PART TO HELP PREVENT AND SOLVE CRIME. Crime Solvers of Washington, DC currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.   • i don’t get this. wouldn’t the person who was being stalked be able to name their stalker? what did this guy do after he had a coffee in the starbucks?

    • Here’s what I don’t get: the video quality of virtually all of the MPD’s person of interest video is like something from the 70’s …why oh why in this age of pinhole cameras capturing high definition video do ALL the videos posted have such shitty quality? These videos are essentially useless. He has a hat, sunglasses, is black, and possibly has a cold or allergies given that he blows his nose…and really that’s it.

    • I assume stalking could be that this guy is following someone they don’t know, maybe even an employee there. I don’t think you will always know your stalker or that its always a typical case like an ex, or creeper you know sending you letters.

      Also, to INDC – these video’s aren’t from MPD camera’s. Why businesses don’t protect themselves with better quailty cameras is your queestion
