  • The whole stretch of Connecticut is starting to look pretty sad. T-Mobile, the suit shop, the former salon, and now this all vacant.

🙁 This makes me sad. I’m glad that they will be keeping their other locations open, but this one was my favorite. I’ve found the staff to be extremely helpful, patient, and kind — and this has been a good place to find products that are hard to find, even on the internet. Bummer.

  • So sad, this is a great pharmacy. When I worked upstairs I used to go there. Staff and pharmacist were friendly and helpful.

  • Aristocratization!

  • I used to get my Roger & Gallet lettuce soap there.

  • This is a huge bummer, as I get compound prescriptions filled there. I’m really glad the other locations are staying open, otherwise I have no clue what I would do.

There are other compounding pharmacies in the area — including the Knowles group. I can’t remember the exact name, but there’s one near the Friendship Heights Metro near or in 5454 Wisconsin Avenue/Barlow Building.

    • I’m pretty sure Grubbs Pharmacy does compounding, too, and they’re close by on 17th St.

  • Foer’s Pharmacy is still a great mom-and-pop pharmacy in the area – I love going to them! They’ve got a couple of locations, 5 total I believe. One on 18th Street near Farragut West metro and one on K St near Foggy Bottom metro. And I know they do compounding too.

  • dammit i really like this pharmacy. great staff, very helpful, and so convenient!

  • Pharmacist was an asshole. Pretty much accused me of being an addict/ scammer. Told me “you can try elsewhere, but we’re not falling for it here.” He never tried to call the prescribing physician, or my insurance, to see that this prescription was legit and routine.
So much for trying to patronize the small businesses.
    Foer’s is much nicer.
