    Does anyone else get the impression that nearly all the new restaurants opening in DC these days are about 95% slick marketing/interior design, and about 5% decent food and drink?

  • Slick interior? I’m sure the owners are just kicking themselves for not keeping things the way they were, with the bakery case that was in the middle of the place and all. Or would dark wood paneling and a few wicker-covered chianti bottles do it for you?
