Wow, that building is one of the few I’ve seen that could properly use the word “stunning” as a descriptor.

  • Looks like a good deal to me – place looks really cute and I’ve been up on that roofdeck – it is simply incredible.

  • And you’d get to be Carol Schwartz’s neighbor!

  • I lived near here it – it is a great location. And, if you can stand living in a basement with low or jagged ceilings and high up windows, it is in great shape, and well laid out. I’d want to be sure the windows weren’t right on Connecticut, and that they all have iron bars or AC units that are very solidly drilled in so as to be theft proof. Better as a unit to rent out, if the condo is liberal about renting rules, in my opinion, as this neighborhood gets good prices for rents.

  • The sale price looks like a very good deal indeed, but that is a pretty high condo fee for a unit this small (although maybe not quite so bad considering it includes utilities and cable).

  • Despite the low ceiling, it’s less dungeon-like than a lot of basement units. The space looks well laid out given the square footage, although you’ll need that extra storage. the fee is high but I’ll bet the cable 9even if basic) plus utilities makes the monthly cost ok, overall.

The link says the listing is no longer available!

    • I suspect the real estate agent didn’t like our comments, because while it was removed from Popville, it is still listed as active in the MRIS system, where it was last updated early this evening.

  • This would be a perfect starter home for a young person. If you’re out and about a lot (as you should be, living in this location) it doesn’t matter as much that you’re in the basemen. And the roof would be great for hosting parties. Assuming the condo bylaws are lenient about renting you could hold on to it after you inevitably want to upgrade to a better home.
