Sad story of a lost phone

“It’s a longshot, but I am searching for my lost iPhone, which is in a white and gray Otterbox. If anyone in or around the NOMA station Wednesday morning (or on a Red line train departing NOMA toward Shady Grove) between 8:30-9 picked it up, I’d be so, so grateful.

It’s a pretty old, tired phone, and isn’t worth much, but it has many, many valuable kid photos on it. No questions asked and a reward for its return.

You can reach me on [email protected]

Many thanks!”

  • Have you logged into iCloud? Unless you specifically set the phone up to never back up and never sync anything, the photos are probably there.

  • An update: It was found! I lost it in my office, rather than on the street, and the good Samaritan turned it in! I just logged into iCloud and backed up the phone, sproc!
