  • I used to live in this building. It’s pretty nice! The walls are very thin, though, and it doesn’t feel much like a neighborhood when you’re across from the FBI building in tourist central. The lack of pictures make me wonder if it’s one of the first floor units, which are close-to-basement-level and back up to the alley behind the former Living Social building on F. Also, there was a makeshift commune of homeless 20somethings who camped in front of the Hard Rock Cafe next door and played Magic the Gathering all day, if you’re into that.

  • Expensive for a studio, although 508 SF is a pretty big studio.. No photos is kind of the unit isn’t usually a good sign. The common areas are very nice though.

I guess you’re paying for location/convenience, but I just don’t see Penn Quarter as a particularly great place to live, especially right across the street from the FBI building.

    • Penn Quarter is one of the only neighborhoods on multiple train lines and walking distance to both k street jobs and the hill. It stopped being hip when the 930 club left, but it will always be more convenient than “neighborhoody” places.
