  • I have no idea if this is a good deal, but the exterior looks kind of mish-mashed and totally out of place. It looks like they just took elements of colonial and Mediterranean styles and glued them on a boring brown box.

So no fridge in the basement kitchen/wet bar?

If I were into driving everywhere, I think I could find a way to be content here. Most of the interior is pretty sweet, though I do agree that the outside is boring and kind of ugly.

The outside is a bit bland McMansion-y, but the inside I really like. This is one of the few open concept main levels I’ve actually seen in DC that I like. It helps that it’s not in a home 15 feet wide.

  • It’s ok if you are really jonesing for a brand spanking new house. But, in a city with such gorgeous older homes and at a pricepoint where you can afford the upkeep that comes along with owning an older home I would opt for something with more green space and character. This is a McMansion.

  • Too bad they chopped all the other trees near the house

  • A resounding meh.

However, a friend of a friend has pretty much this exact interior (spec houses are weird like that,) but lived in, not staged. And it was very attractive in an bland kind of way.
