I guess for a studio this isn’t *terrible* – I just can’t get behind the idea of basically sleeping in my kitchen.

  • Actually not terrible. It’s depressing to think about paying this much for a tiny studio, but it’s a relatively good deal. Though it’s small, there’s a full kitchen with a decent amount of storage space and a gas stove, in-unit W/D, room for both a bed and couch, lots of light, newish building, and good amenities, all in a popular location.

  • Price is probably dead on for the neighborhood.

Aside: I walk by this building every day and noticed a while back that the building across N St is 1300 13th ST, NW. So there are two apartment buildings, relatively modern, with a big 1300 on them. That has to drive delivery people crazy.

  • If you don’t mind having a microunit, this is an OK deal for Logan Circle. They have made good use of the space and the Radius is supposed to be a nice building.

  • You can find somewhat bigger units in the area but they won’t be as uptodate. the one bedrooms I’ve seen in this building are pretty tiny too. At least it does have central air and a washer/dryer which should satisfy some of the more common complaints here.

  • I’d say this is a very good deal for the location. Five years ago I lived a short block away and paid almost this much for a much older studio without updates and almost no amenities whatsoever. It was almost double the size, but it seems like a fair tradeoff. Especially since the neighborhood has gotten a lot more expensive in those five years.

  • DC’s vacancy rate is up. Mortgage interests rates are up. This is too expensive.
