  • Way too much for a 2BR rental.

    • Really? I live in a similar house nearby and thought I could rent it for a least the mortgage amount ($3400).

  • That photo of the back patio looks to be purposefully avoiding capturing something

    • You are correct. I saw this place a while back when it was last available and the back space is really not up to much, kinda junky in fact. And the place itself is very narrow, so I also would say the asking rent is too high.

  • Accountering

I don’t think someone with a housing voucher is going to be super excited to ONLY be paying $1742.

  • Its a nice house, in a nice location, but if they want to rent for anything near that, they 1) need to get rid of the ugly carpeting on the second floor and have finished hardwood floors like on the first floor, and 2) fix up the backyard outside situation, if it is junky as noted, as one of the main reasons to spring for a house, with the attendant extra expenses such as paying for your own heat and all, is to have some nice outdoor space. Otherwise, why bother – you can find plenty of units in multifamily buildings without outdoor space, and often without the cheap junky carpeting.
