I keep forgetting to post this awesome new sculpture at City Market at O – “Symphony in DC Major”:

  • It really is stunning. The first time i saw it and walked past it, i was blown away. Beautiful works of art.

  • This is awesome!!

  • Er, the placard has a typo. Alma “Woodsey” Thomas.

  • This sculpture is fantastic – I ride my bike by often and am in awe. I worry, however, it will get vandalised. 🙁

  • love it! I especially love Alma Thomas and she is so unknown/underrated. Glad to see her featured here (and I hope DCCAH will fix the plaque to spell her name right, but they screw up so much that I doubt it). I hope it doesn’t get vandalized but don’t have much hope.

  • Really impressive in the photo; must be more so in person. Are those ambient pieces mirrored?
