  • Of course the perpetrators are part of an ATV gang. Ignoring DC’s gang problem and letting these people ride illegally all over town at will is only going to make matters get worse. MPD needs to crack down on gangs.

    • It makes me so mad that MPD openly tolerates the gangs of ATV riders for more than a year, and now we have a homicide of a valued member of our community perpetrated by a gang of ATV riders. MPD brass needs to do some soul searching and step up their game as it relates to protecting the community from such overt lawlessness. I was shocked recently to see a MASKED teen ATV rider breaking all sorts of traffic laws and terrorizing law abiding motorists. That MPD’s policy is to never intervene in such lawlessness is just absolutely nuts.

      • “That MPD’s policy is to never intervene in such lawlessness”

I don’t believe that is MPD’s policy. State your source or admit you made it up.

  • Totally not surprising. They know the police won’t touch them, so now they know they can literally get away with murder. I can’t wait for the howls of the peanut gallery when some of these fools get what is due to them and a truck or something splatters their useless brains all over the street.
