Located at Park Rd NW near 16th St NW, the Lynnbrook condos were built in 1925. The twenty eight units range in size from 402 to 831 square feet. The common areas of the building have retained the historic finishes and character.

Prior to 2001, it was possible to purchase a unit in this building for less than $100,000. The lowest reported price in the Lynnbrook was nearly twenty years ago in 1997, at $11,500., which was negotiated down from a list price of $13,000., clearly during very different real estate market conditions.

There are no current active listings in the building. A 568 square foot one bedroom that was listed for $315,000. is under contract after seven days on the market.

In the immediate area, there is only one active condo listing west of 16th Street, and several listings on the east side, including some newly renovated units. You can see the listings here.

The listing agents for this sale were Steven Dean and Eddie Rangel with RE/MAX Allegiance. Jennifer Myers with Dwell Residential Brokerage represented the buyer in this transaction.

  • This is a really nice building in Mt. Pleasant. I looked at several condos there when I was looking to buy my first place, in 2001. A sign of the times…back in 2001 a friend of mine had just bought a 1BR in this building for $99K. By the time I was looking a few months later, they were listed at $120K. One of the units I looked at had sold in 1998 or 1999 for only $25K. It’s amazing how much prices have gone up in DC…
