FINAL MArch 12th Poster

From a press release:

“The second annual DC Funk Parade, is launching its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign today to help raise $15,000 for the day festival, parade and nearly 100 hours of music, dance and art programming happening all day. All proceeds help support the day’s infrastructure and are critical to the continued success of the event.

Last year, the DC Funk Parade, which celebrates DC music and cultural arts, brought over 25,000 residents to the historic U Street area. This year’s event, taking place on Saturday, May 2, will draw even larger crowds with more performances and showcases in the neighborhood, making the community’s support critical.

With different levels of donations, comes some great perks. Highlights include: tickets to the Funk Parade Kickoff Show at the Howard Theater, Thursday, March 12, Funk Parade t-shirts, maps, limited edition posters, sunglasses, a private cocktail class with Derek Brown, Funk Bass Kit Raffle, Free Tickets to shows at local venues and much more. For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.
