Kena – Washington Humane Society
Kena is a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/border collie mix from the Washington Humane Society. She is a medium-energy sweetie pie who’s ready to find her new best friend. She may seem timid at first, but with just a moment, you will have an express ticket to cuddle station. She enjoys runs, but she is equally happy to hang out by our side after a walk. You can meet Kena at WHS’s New York Avenue Adoption Center and learn about the adoption process here.
More great pets after the jump.
Mariah – Homeward Trails Animal Rescue
Mariah is a beautiful, young tabby from Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. She is a petite girl who gets along well with other animals and loves people. She is very cuddly and will follow you from room to room. Mariah is social, confident, and would do well as either a single cat or with a feline or canine friend. For adoption information, please visit her Petfinder page. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please send an email here. You can also meet some of our adoptable animals at one of our events!
Cali is an elegant, 1.5 year old dilute tortie from Tails High, Inc. With the time and care she has been given, Cali has discovered that she really likes to be petted. She’s a happy girl that loves to play with other cats, comes when called, and sits on command. If you let her, she will gladly cuddle you as you sleep. Best of all, she has developed the adorable habit of puffing up the fur on the base of her tail when she’s super happy. If you would like to adopt Cali, please complete our adoption application on our website. You can also visit us at one of our upcoming events!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.
You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.
It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
