Metrobus Service Suspended, DC Government Closed – some Places to Drink, Eat and Warm Up

From WMATA:

“All Metrobus service (all routes, all lines) is now SUSPENDED until further notice due to current extremely hazardous weather and road conditions. The decision to suspend service was made at 3:30 a.m. by Metro’s Emergency Command Center, which has been monitoring weather and road conditions throughout the overnight hours. Bus service will only be restored when it is safe to do so.”

“Metrorail opened at 5:00 am with trains on Saturday schedule (about every 12 min). MetroAccess service suspended until further notice.”

From the Mayor’s office:

“Due to winter weather, the Bowser Administration announced that District Government will be closed on Tuesday February 17th. Essential or Emergency personnel will still be required to report to work.”
