“Every third Tuesday in the month, we screen Czech movies that became famous and popular for various reason. Every year, we feature world famous Czech director and this year we are introducing Zdenek Sverak retrospective. Most importantly, they are very good movies, mostly indie films, screened right here at the Bistro Bohem. [600 Florida Ave, NW]
The event is co-sponsored by the Embassy of the Czech Republic which provides the movie screening rights and discussion about the movie and Bistro Bohem, which hosts the festival and provides first beer free to all guests.
We have just finished our 2015 movie outline and I wanted to share it with you and your readers. The screenings are free but making reservations is recommended as the festival has been very popular and we want to ensure that everyone can get in.”
