On 1/7/15, the perpetrator was arrested and will be charged as an adult when he is presented in DC Superior Court tomorrow.

Great job by the 4D Detectives in obtaining an arrest warrant for the perpetrator and great job by the 4D patrol officers, searching high and low for him to get a violent offender off the streets.”

  • Good job, I hope they got the right guys and that they are duly removed from society.

  • Accountering

Great job on both. These two criminals deserve to go away for a long long time if they are found guilty. Scary that the one murderer lives on my block in Petworth. Glad to have him out of there, and glad to see some resolution to the crime wave that Brightwood saw. This definitely brightened my day! Props to the Cops indeed.

    • Did you know him or of him? Just thinking of hearing a comment from one of the crime meetings that maybe 10 people total are responsible for the neighborhood crime wave…just wondering if he has been a problem for a long time…I just hope if a few individuals commit crimes over and over and over again that they can be brought to justice.

  • Good work MPD. Looks like the pressure from the press and neighborhood had a positive impact. Glad to see criminals off the streets! It shows you what increased resources can do.

  • Wondering if in the Emerson shooting the victims knew each other and/or if it was drug related. If not, very scary to think anyone might get shot walking in my neighborhood just to get robbed.

  • Good news indeed and great police work!
