  • My friend went there for her birthday the other night, had only good things to share. Also from her experience, sounds like they have a solid staff and management, they comped one of her entrees because it came out ‘late’, although she didn’t notice it to be excessively slow. I really want to go soon and check it out but I lost my recent restaurant buddy.

  • I went on Monday and thought it was ok. The food was tasty but not stellar…think small plate fusion per the rest of the city. Prob my least favorite of the Andres restaurants in DC. The menu reads more interesting than the food. The cocktail menu was interesting and well executed. The staff were attentive and immediately attended to any new-restaurant-mix-ups. The space itself is fun and lively. Try it for the sake of something new but don’t expect it to be one of your best meals of 2015.

China Chilcano is a great addition to ThinkFoodGroup’s restaurant collection in DC. I went last night with my wife and was seated next to Chef Andrés reviewing the menu. We had a great meal and highly recommend the Camarón Saltado and Ceviche Clásico to eat and the pisco sour with macerado de ají rocoto and Déjame Quererte to drink. I look forward to returning.
