I’m kind of in love with that kitchen.

    • My thoughts too, love the kitchen layout, style and colors. Easily the best thing about the apartment.

Same. But I’m not in love with the idea of my bed smelling like bacon and whatever food I make every day.

    • Me too, but I’m not sure I could get past the issue of having no place to seat visitors. I don’t think there is a place to put either a sofa or dining room table.
It may be a moot point now given the way real estate prices have blown up in the last few years, but four years ago, I paid less than $1500 for a studio twice this size in Logan and it had space for a full bed, a bureau, a large sofa, two lounge chairs and a coffee table, as well as two good-sized closets. The kitchen was a pretty unremarkable, old galley kitchen, but it worked out really well for me even though I love to cook and cook often.

      • Oh — I also had a dining room table with five chairs.

Holy moly! Your studio must have been huge! I think I’m doing pretty well with a sofa, full sized bed, vanity, (never cleared) coffee table, and bookcase. I didn’t see sq footage but it looks like my place is only slightly bigger than this one, but the layout is way better. For one thing the kitchen is tucked behind the bathroom and closet so the smells don’t get on everything.

        • It was big, but not enormous. It just had a really nice layout for a studio, I think. The only awkward thing I was happy to leave behind was having my bed *in* my living room, but all said, it felt like I got a good deal.

  • “All utilities included except electric” sounds awfully disingenuous unless the heat and A/C are building-wide and don’t feed into individual units’ electric meters. The stove isn’t gas, so unless heat and A/C are included, “all utilities included except electric” is really “water and trash included” — which is usually the case in apartment buildings anyway.

  • Wow – that looks like it could be almost 350 square feet!

  • I lived in the same unit on a different floor. Its a 320sq ft. studio. I was able to get quite a bit of furniture in the unit and no murphy bed.

  • Dear God. Just 2 years ago I was paying this exact price for a nice 550 sq/f one bedroom in Logan Circle. I’m sure they jacked the price up for the new tenants, but still….this is obscene. It’s cute for what it is, but the price is just absurd.

  • Wow, I’ve never seen a closet with a kitchen in it before.
