Alert: Shooting in 1400 Block of L St SE @1845hrs, LOF 2 B/M, 17-20 years of age, in a Dark colored Dodge Challenger, fleeing the scene.

Update from MPD:

“On today’s date at approximately 6:45 pm, there was a shooting that occurred in the 1400 block of L Street, SE. An adult male was shot, non-fatally, and taken to a local area hospital for his injuries. Look-out is for a black male around the age of 17, who was a passenger in a charcoal grey Dodge Challenger/Charger seen leaving the area.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099 or 1-888-919-2746. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
