  • Oh, I just…yes. Yes to all of this.

  • When did we stop calling this “House Porn?” Was there pressure from the real estate gang?
Speaking of porn, how I hate the ubiquitous “50 Shades of Gray” interior design schemes that are all the rage these days. They feel soulless and make me want to spill red wine and bong water on the carpets.

  • Finally – Rich people with good taste!

I’m pretty sure I remember seeing this house featured in Elle Decor or some other similar magazine. I definitely recognize that light fixture.

  • It must be nice to be rich. This house was on the Dupont Circle House Tour and the guy just bought it last year. He painstakingly explained the renovations he did to it and now he’s selling it. These pictures don’t do the slightest justice to the size and beauty of the place but I swear some of the rooms were painted more dramatically. The house looks so bland in these photos. If I had this baby they’d have to carry me out before I parted with it. Please lord let me win the lottery.

Yep, I would totally live there. Splash some paint up, add some art and some colorful furniture and this place is divine. And I would totally find a place for a sideways sink just for fun.

  • Wasn’t this house featured on POPville or some other DC blog within the last few months? I remember the fireplace next to the crazy tub and people going gaga over it then. I think the owner was a bachelor with too much time/money on his hands.

  • Over-sized furniture for days.

  • Lovely house, perfect location. I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had that kind of money.

  • There was a house in bad need of renovation that I looked at a few years ago that was this size and location and on the market for about 950k. Should have bought it.
