  • Love. It. That’s a nice yard for Bloomingdale too. It’s a shame they did not include any pictures of the basement though.

  • Great deal, I’d say. LOVE all the original trim, doors, and hardware.

  • The kitchen could use a bit of updating, but the rest of the house is really nice.

  • I’d say this is right in line with where the neighborhood is at these days.

  • So glad they didn’t blow this one out and remove all the interior walls and details. I think we’ll look back at the open concept years and regret taking it to the extremes that we so often see these days. Of course that’s not to say that there’s a few things in this house that might need a gentle update, but I think it’s priced with that in mind. Good location + good house + good price = quick sale.

    • Funny. My first thought was to knock down the kitchen wall and reconfigure to make it bigger and more open. To each his own. I’ve lived in homes with compartmentalized rooms and now live in in an open floor plan space. Personally prefer the open space concept. You get more light and a feeling of just more elbow room, particularly if your place isn’t that big. I think it depends too on whether you are a couple/single or have kids.

  • Love this house–the wood floors, the trimwork, etc. It could use some work, but this is one of the only houses in this neighborhood that looks like it is (1) in good condition, and (2) hasn’t been flipped. I think it’ll go over asking, and quickly.

  • Is the backyard shared with the neighbor house?

  • the crown moulding would look better painted the same color as the walls.

  • Only 1,300 above ground sq/ft and it’s close proximity to North Capitol keeps this in the $800K-$820K range is my guess.

  • This will go for above asking.
