From the Forum – Stuffed Animal Found in Mt. P “I’m a nanny, so I know when a toy looks like someone really loves it.”

“It’s tan in color. SEE ATTACHED PHOTO. The little guy smells nice and looks/feels really loved-up. I’m a nanny, so I know when a toy looks like someone really loves it. I think a little person is really missing him. I’m trying to get the word out. I found him yesterday (October 30) in the playground across from Mt. Pleasant Library (Lamont and 16th NW). • Aww 🙁 Would it be ok to put Found signs near the playground and possibly in the neighborhood.

  • I think it’s awesome POPville is trying to re-unite this toy with a sad little tyke who’s missing it. Reminds me of a very nice hotel maid from 30+ years ago who mailed me, at her own expense, a little stuffed brontosaurus I left at a Marriott in Toronto at around 2 years old. I still own that little stuffed dinosaur to this very day.

Not long ago I hung up my swimming trunks up to dry in the bathroom at a Hyatt in Boston. I forgot them when I checked out so I called to say if they found them please mail them back at their convenience, expecting them to put them in an envelope and stick on a stamp. Their “convenience” was to FedEx them back priority overnight using my credit card on file. It wasn’t that much less than the stay cost.

  • I had a little tear when I saw this. Hoping this lovie finds his way home!

  • Dumplingdreams, you’re so kind to post this! He does look well-loved. Anyway, Mt P has a list-serv you might try:
I hope this adorable puppy can be reunited with his friend… I remember almost losing my best stuffed friend once, and I was very upset at the thought, because I really did love him (and his smell).
