Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 3-4 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible. If you’re not using an iphone any size is fine.

“This is my sweet cat Fiona in Capitol Hill. She is usually really good, but I had to cat shame her after she puked all over my bed one morning….”

“Rumor, my Bedlington Terrier god-dog doing his stealth impression on some carpet that matches him pretty well. Can you tell where dog ends and carpet begins? Rumor lives in Columbia Heights.”

“This is Rex, from H Street, our Jack Russell Terrier stuck in a cat suit. She is doing her best impression of a Sea Otter in the bathroom sink.”

  • I’ve seen Rumor and I admit I freaked out even though I know what a Bedlington terrier is! People must stop you all the time and ask about him.
    He’s adorable!

    • Most folks who stop to meet him ask if he’s a lamb, but he’s 100% dog, smart as a whip, and typically friendly to all except bigger dogs and people who walk up his front steps unexpected.

    • Rumor is gorgeous, and makes me miss my childhood pup. Bedlingtons really are the best – part stuffed animal, part bulldog, part daredevil, and all cute. Thanks for sharing!

  • Animals don’t get sick on purpose, so it’s not really something to shame.

  • Only once, Fiona? You need to try harder

  • These animals are so beautiful! I like trying to determine the daily “theme” PoP had in mind for the picture groupings. I see the theme in the first two. I guess the last one is an “accent” pic to keep it interesting. LOL
