From an email:

Sunday, October 26: Martha’s Table One Pot Supper Evening fundraiser dinner parties hosted in scores of private homes across the region.  Martha’s Table asks its supporters and others committed to fighting hunger in the District to host a One Pot Supper Evening on Oct. 26. Hosts will invite five or 25 or more people to their home for a cookout, a potluck or a sit-down dinner, use information flash cards provided by Martha’s Table to stimulate conversations about hunger issues in the D.C. metro-area, and collect donations for Martha’s Table. Martha’s Table will give each host a gift of a 2.5 quart red-apple cook pot to pass around the table for contributions to support the organization’s work. Get involved here!

If you cannot host a dinner, you can still participate. Visit ChurchKey, Birch & Barley, Iron Gate,  Ardeo+Bardeo, or 701 restaurants on October 26 evening and they will donate a percentage of your dinner check to Martha’s Table.”
