  • That’s a good weekend for Cleveland Park. The Giant finally opens at Cathedral Commons that weekend too.

Both will be a welcome addition.

  • I, for one, am very excited about this place. It fills the void left by Dino’s departure. Speaking of which, have you heard anything about what will occupy that space?

    • There are at least 5 vacant storefronts on that stretch of Connecticut… would LOVE to see a yoga studio of some kind, decent sushi, a Mexican restaurant that’s not Alero… there’s definitely demand by people who don’t want to go all the way to Shaw every time they go out.

      • Spices used to have passable sushi, but I haven’t been there in years. I would love to have a good sushi place that delivers. Tono Sushi has gone WAY downhill lately.

      • maxwell smart

I have a feeling it’s going to be a while before much happens here, sadly. With all of the places going into Cathedral Commons – Raku, Bodega… – plus whatever ends up going into Park Van Ness when it’s finished, CP has some competition with newer, and presumably, cheaper real estate.

  • Im not sure this is “breaking news”

  • Great addition for CP.
