  • Their meats are so good. I’ve had the pulled pork sandwich, and it’s amazing. Can’t wait to try more sandwiches.

    • +1 love every sandwich I’ve had there, esp. the pastrami.

Once upon time they had meatball subs, and eating one was a sublime, ethereal experience. I’d love it if they brought those back!!

  • Did prices come down? I can see going there once in a while at this price. I’d previously written it off as too pricey.

  • Their fresh and smoked sausages are amazing, the best I’ve ever had, including a special order from Black’s BBQ in Lockhart, Texas, and a meal at Del Campo.

The pastrami sandwich however, was very skimpy on the meat. Maybe they were running low or something.

    • Oh, and their country ham (to be eaten like a high-quality prosciutto), is probably the best ham I’ve ever had as well.

  • I’m sure the sandwiches are good, but after being totally ignored after entering the store–as the only customer–and having made eye contact with and smiled at an employee–I’m not interested in going back there. Rethink your customer-service model, 3 Little Pigs. Not even acknowledging my presence after you see me and waiting close to five minutes to take my order (a simple pound of bacon) tells me you don’t want me there. And I didn’t bother to stick around to place an order after the same process started the second time.

    • I had the SAME experience. I went once their first week and waited 10+ minutes before I gave up and left. It takes focus and determination to ignore someone that long. I went again probably 8 months later and did manage to speak to someone (the owner, I believe, and again, after a truly weird long wait for nothing that I could see); she was so rude that all my indulgence for their newness went out the window.

  • Excellent! Petworth needs more higher end sandwich places. Count me in! Cant wait to try it.

  • Their bacon is amazing. It’s kind of ruined me for supermarket bacon.

  • notlawd

I have to check this out! Love that there are several non pork options, despite the name of the shop.

  • I left a comment card a couple of months ago asking them to please add salads to the menu… Still holding out hope that they’re coming in phase 2!?? I’ve randomly asked TLP to make me salads a couple of times and they’re delicious, but not everyone with a gluten allergy would take that approach. It would be easy enough since they have all of the ingredients – just need appropriate containers 🙂

  • I hope it still doesn’t take 15+ minutes for them to make. Love their products. Hate their customer service. Let’s not even talk about their fundraising efforts for their space upstairs.

  • Their bacon is just too salty! Would like to try some beef brisket, if they add a toasted cheese brisket sandwich I would def. be back to try that.

  • Thank you for all of your work on this web page. My mum takes pleasure in getting into research and it is easy to see why.
