  • the kitchen is trippy! if you don’t like right angles, this house is for you. since the sf is not known, the quality of the deal can’t be known. but you have to give it points for being unique.

  • only 1 bath? nope.

  • Other than the weird kitchen, I really like it. If I could buy it, I would.

  • 807 sq feet according to tax records. It’s TINY.

  • I’m going to say not a good deal. Layout with the angles is weird–looks like furniture in the second bedroom could be tricky because of the angle, and the kitchen hurts my head. I also don’t love the bathroom finishes. Parking is nice, but not sure what the surroundings are for the outdoor space–doesn’t look quite like a garden oasis, more like a cracked alley. No second bathroom. $575K seems more reasonable.

  • Odd angles all over the place, including the parking–I wonder if something larger than a Prius will fit. I’ll be they make it seem more claustrophobic. The porches seem like the real drawing card–on a side street, they’ll get more use than someplace noisier and busier and I’d imagine they make the small second bedroom more attractive.

    • Re: parking space

It seems reasonably sized. I live in the neighbourhood and have seen a Honda Accord and a mid-sized SUV parked in there.

  • The distance between that fridge and the counter seems to be very, very narrow and measured in inches not feet.

As to price it seems a little pricey – I would have thought in the high $500,00’s.

  • I love the idea of a privacy fence when that entire apartment building can see into the backyard!

Is this a double lot? Maybe one could build it out.

  • I live on this block. There isn’t a backyard, just the fenced-in parking spot. the alley is fine, just a lot of concrete and some dumpsters from the apartment building nearby. The front porches are great, since the block is quiet. Also, it is right next to Harris Teeter. The sq footage and layout are not worth $675k…neighborhhood is probably the biggest factor in the price.
